In the new year I hope to read more, peruse more, and apply more what I am learning. Here are some of the titles I have been reading and/or hope to read in the very near future:
Built to Last and Good to Great by Jim Collins – great info for starting a church or non-profit
An Unstoppable Force by Erwin McManus – a must read for any church planter or anyone wanting to lead a missional church
The Radical Leap by Steve Farber – “a personal lesson in extreme leadership”
Deadly Viper: Character Assassins by Mike Foster and Jud Wilhite – “a kung fu survival guide for our integrity”
Faith in the Halls of Power by D. Michael Lindsay – How Evangelicals are influencing our culture from positions of power (article here)
No Ordinary Time about FDR vs. Hitler and Team of Rivals about Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin, She is my absolute favorite historian!
The 4:8 Principle by Thomas Newberry and How Full is Your Bucket? by Tom Rath – both are about winning the battle in our mind
Microtrends by Mark Penn – “The Small Forces Behind Tomorrow’s Big Changes”
I Am America (and So Can You) by Stephen Colbert – this will help me become a better American 🙂
