We have an incredible privilege to make our opinions count as Americans. We are so incredibly blessed with freedom, and we need to take advantage of our freedom and VOTE!
At the same time, we forget that our power is not limited within the confines of the voting booth!
Martin Luther King, Jr. once said:
“The Civil Rights Act was expected by many to suffer the fate of the Supreme Court decisions on school desegregation….massive defiance. But this pessimism overlooked a factor of supreme importance….this legislation was first written in the streets.”
