“The Sea Parable”

Christine from The Origins Project pointed me to a nice little animated short film called The Sea Parable.   This animated short tells the story of a group of heroes who turned their lighthouse into a museum.  They would rather reflect on the past heroic work instead of  continuing to rescue others.  It is a great yet sad analogy of the state of too many churches.

We watched this in class last Sunday. It is very powerful. I am surprised you weren’t aware of it, especially with the pinata reference.

We showed this in the worship gatherings at Vintage Faith Church about 2 months ago when we were teaching about mission. It was very powerful.
