I had always heard about the influence of South by Southwest, but now that we live in Austin we’ve caught a glimpse of how big SxSW truly is! Movies are released here (The Source Code, a documentary of Conan O’Brien, etc.). New technologies and online companies are introduced here (in the past Twitter and Foursquare, this year Dog Bless You). Great music is performed here (the Foo Fighters did a surprise show in a small venue and Jack White at a restaurant near our house).
