New friends of ours here in Austin own and operate a restaurant in Brenham called Royers RoundTop Cafe. Bud “The Pie Man” has shared some of his delicious pies with us at some of Gateway Events like our Leadership Community, a Crowded House event, and at the last Unplugged. From personal experience, I can vouch for the deliciousness of these pies!!
Now the Royers have invited others to help them in Operation: Desert Pie. Their goal is to deliver to 1000 troops the ultimate slice of home: Bud’s Chocolate Chip Pie.
If you are interested in supporting our troops with pies, her are three options:
- buy one for yourself and ship one to a soldier
- order one for a soldier
- let others know about Operation: Desert Pie
