After living in Austin now for almost 9 months, it has literally only rained for about 45 minutes total in the entire time we’ve been here. Today, it has been cloudy for the first time in a long time, and it rained for another 10 minutes. Of course, it happens to be the first day of Austin’s world-renowned outdoor music festival (which happens to be walking distance from our house).
This year the Austin City Limits Music Festival includes acts like Stevie Wonder, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Nas, Fleet Foxes, Cee Lo, Cold War Kids, Coldplay, and so many others!
We are excited because we know some people who are getting to perform as well: the kids’ school (Barton Hills Elementary 6th Grade Choir) and Suzanna Choffel who played at Gateway’s South Campus during South by Southwest.
