“History creates caricature legends. When we look past the veneer of the story – the story that makes people ‘go down in history’– we see that most “heroes” are no different than you or me. They had no superpowers, but they did have character that enabled them to make profound choices in challenging moments. We’re getting to know some unlikely heroes of ancient times that will inspire us to become the heroes of our generation.”
