This next week, my kids, teens from Gateway South and Gateway McNeil, some great youth leaders, and I will be serving Somali refugees in Minneapolis.

“There are over 95,000 refugees that have been resettled to Minneapolis-St. Paul, making the Twin-Cities home to the largest Hmong and Somali communities in the United States. Together with Kaleo Mission, Gateways GO! Team will partner with several ethnic churches in meeting the needs of this ever growing immigrant population. The team will also partner with Mission Shift, Salvation Army and In Love, Word & Deed to help serve residents and children in multiple homeless shelters.“
