Jon Gordon, the bestselling author and keynote speaker spoke on “Positive Leadership.”
Here are notes from Jon’s message:
Our world needs positive leadership!
Jon didn’t come from a positive family. Lots of wine and whining.
The Energy Bus is about a guy struggling with negativity and depression. He learns the ten laws of life to go in the right direction.
If you can see it, you can create it.
God gives us the vision and the power. He doesn’t give us a set of plans but direction and a path forward.
Jon’s mission is to inspire and empower as many people as possible one person at a time.
I didn’t know what the future held, but I knew Who held my future.
Jon went on a self-funded tour of 28 cities. Seemed like it wasn’t worth the effort, but it was after that when those relationships led to bigger speaking events and selling 1 million copies of The Energy.
God gives us a vision that makes us feel inadequate because we are, but that’s when we find faith!
Leadership is a transfer of belief. If you don’t have it, you can’t pass it along.
We don’t burnout because of what we do but because we forget why we do what we do.
We are not here by accident. If we are still here, we have more work to do!
God never said it would be easy, but He did say He would be with us. Jesus came to be with us. His Spirit is here with us!
