Reading Through the New Testament in the New Year

Reading The New Testament

“The Scriptures are a portal into God’s presence.” – Erwin McManus

One of the most intentional steps for spiritual growth means investing time and energy in hearing God through the Scriptures!

Here’s how:

1. Read one chapter each weekday (Monday through Friday), and you can read through the entire New Testament!

2. Every time you come to the Scriptures, ask God to speak to you and show you what to apply to your life.

3. Consider memorizing a phrase, a verse, or a passage each day. Repeating it throughout the day and seeking to apply to your life will bring growth and transformation.

4. For context, check out The Bible Project videos of each book.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
– 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

– Hebrews 4:12
