John 10 – Do You Hear His Voice?

Jesus compares himself to a gate through which sheep can enter a pasture where they are safe and protected.

He then compares himself to a shepherd and people to sheep and shared how his sheep can hear his voice.

Finally, he says he is one with the Father leading some to try to stone him to death and others to believe in him.

Jesus compares himself to a gate through which sheep can enter a pasture where they are safe and protected.

He then compares himself to a shepherd and people to sheep.

Jesus mentions that Gentile believers will soon become part of his Kingdom along with Jewish believers.

Jesus points to the fact that he willingly lays down his life and rises again as he’s been given this authority from God.

If that wasn’t remarkable enough he then says:

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭‭27‬-‭‭30‬ ‭NIV‬‬)
