Timothy returned from visiting the Thessalonians and was able to report their faith was strong in spite of their challenging circumstances.
Paul had warned them about being persecuted, and unfortunately his warnings came true. Even still they had endured which encouraged Paul, Silas, and Timothy who were praying for them night and day.
